i most admire a person who is self-critical and aware of his own deficiencies - not like ignorant people, who revel in talking of their own minuscule knowledge with no desire to learn; rather, one who is open to things greater than and beyond his own experience (for who can claim a complete perspective of reality?). however i have no praise for meek, mindless people who hold no opinions of their own. pride is necessary for one to be able to healthily interact with other people.
