i spent my afternoon at bekah's for an impromptu catching-up. she just got back from a big modeling & talent convention, where she was scouted by hollywood agents and casting directors, and of course i was so innately jealous that i had to hear every detail.

that was fun. bekah is one of those really unique, random and creative people, whose effervescent prescence is quite cheering. i haven't laughed so hard since the last time i watched a seinfeld marathon at 3 am.

then i came home and cooked a bit of dinner. i wrapped myself in a blanket and watched a full hour of friends (good, quality entertainment) and decided to turn it off when i found that i was telling ross that he wasn't ok with joey and rachel. yes, i talk to my television.

made a cup of tea and read some more of war and peace. this is really my new favorite novel. tolstoy is so incredible.

this last bit brought two important thoughts to mind:
1) wouldn't it be cool to put a bunch of tea bags in a hot bath? it would be aromatherapy, but with leaves.
and
2) i'd like to know what it's like to have four legs. i think four-legged creatures run so much more gracefully than humans.
